Young visitors
This site is written for teens and their parents. We don't ask for names, emails, photos or ages, and we don't build profiles. The paid analysis on acne.today is meant to be used with a parent by anyone under 18.
What we count
- Visit statistics: the page, the site that linked you, how long and how far you read, what you tap or click, and general device facts such as screen size, language and time zone.
- The breakout picker: it only changes what you see. If you then tap the button under your result, acne.today learns which breakout type you picked.
- Hosting logs: IP address, browser type and requested pages, kept by the host to keep the site safe and running.
How counting works
Statistics go from your browser to /api/w on this site, which passes them to an analytics provider (EU) storing data in the European Union. The IP address is passed on so the provider can estimate a country and city. Your tab's session storage holds a random visit number so pages from one visit stay together; it is gone when you close the tab. No cookies are used for statistics. In the EU we only count after you agree in the notice.
Tapping through to acne.today
Buttons such as "Start my analysis" go via bestacnetreatmentforteens.com/evaluate to acne.today, a separate paid service. The link says you came from this site, which button you used and, if you used the picker, your breakout type. Photos, payments and anything else on acne.today follow acne.today's own privacy policy.
Our legal reasons
- EU visitors: your consent for statistics. You can change it any time with "Statistics choice" at the bottom of the page.
- Other visitors, and security and hosting for everyone: our legitimate interest.
- Emails: answering the question you sent.

How long we keep it
Hosting logs for up to 90 days. Emails for as long as we need to help you, and two years at most.
Who gets data
Only the analytics provider and the hosting company, and only what they need. We don't sell data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, fix, delete, limit or receive your data, or object to how we use it. A parent can ask for a child. Email privacy@bestacnetreatmentforteens.com and we reply within four weeks. You can also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your own data protection authority.
